Beyond Urban is working with UMTC in the preparation of the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) for Kalaburagi, Karnataka, delivering end-to-end support across all stages of the study. Our scope includes inception reporting, local coordination with key stakeholders, and comprehensive data collection through both primary surveys and secondary sources. Beyond Urban is supervising and monitoring field surveys, followed by detailed data analysis and GIS-based mapping of transport networks and land use.
The study involves the development of a calibrated Four-Stage Travel Demand Model and the evaluation of multiple future mobility scenarios. Building on this, we are preparing integrated transport strategies and mobility proposals, including public transport, IPT, NMT, road network, and freight components. The plan also includes a phased implementation framework aligned with the city’s growth patterns and mobility needs.
