Project Title: Parking survey, analysis-based comprehensive parking policy guidelines

 The aim of this exercise is to formulate guidelines for a citywide parking policy in Amritsar. The central idea is to use parking policy as a tool to manage travel demand, and as an enabler of enforcing efficient parking manage ment. Based on exhaustive data that will be collected in the city, the policy guidelines will seek to actively catalyze Amritsar towards alternative modes for urban mobility. Apart from planning based on empirical and qualitative evidence, the work entails actively engaging with stakeholders to arrive at a consensus driven policy.
